Ikaw Ang Tunay Na Diyos

Among the songs being played during the Jesus Reigns Celebration on November 27, 2023, "Ikaw Ang Tunay Na Diyos" had a deep impact in me.  It was such an anointed and powerful song as I felt that anointing has been poured out.  I've no words how to explain it but I was kind of goosebumps at that time.  I can feel the cry of the hearts of true worshippers.  I can say that it was not just a song for them but a declaration of who God is in their lives that deserve the highest praise.

I was kind of amazed when most of the songs in the morning program were in Tagalog.  Though we seldom used Tagalog songs in the church, it's good to feel and hear God's people worshipping Him in Filipino.  

It was not a coincidence that a day before Jesus Reigns Celebration, Feast of Christ the King was celebrated by the Catholic Church and a week after that was the Liturgical New Year.  We can see that God is the God of Order and the Body of Christ became ONE declaring the Lordship of Jesus Christ on the earth.

As the chorus of the song "Ikaw Ang Tunay Na Diyos" was being played extremely, tears run down my eyes.  I can't help it.  I felt like, no matter what happen, I will still believe and confess that God is the true God and there is no other. I will declare His greatness and faithfulness in my life.

In the stillness of God's presence in the worship, I offered again my plans for the year, my trip to India, my family, my ministry, among others.  I felt the assurance of God that He will take good care of my family and my ministry while on my India trip. 

On the week of Jesus Reigns and Feast of Christ the King, my LSS was "Ikaw Ang Tunay Na Diyos".  The more I sang it, the more it became alive in me and it strengthened me when my family encountered financial and emotional crisis.  I can say that the circumstances we were in at that time tested our faith and belief if we can still declare and proclaim that God is real.  

Looking back at what had happened, I can boldly say that God always proved Himself faithful in our behalf and that He never leave us nor forsake us.  We were able to surpassed the test of life.  God was able to protect our finances from the devourer, the deliverance from the sting of death of the members of the family and I was able to fulfill my international trip.

Truly, God is real and there is no other.  He is incomparable.  Only God and God alone deserve the highest praise to be known to the world.
