What I long for

We’re having our practice on the stage when I noticed Archie glancing at me while playing with his jolly group at the quadrangle. Walking along the santan pathway, he followed without my knowledge. He escorted me and it looks like a romantic couple as he slowly held my hand. There was silence at first but while walking, he told me that “basi indi eon kita magkita ag may gusto ako nga hambaeon king”. I wondered why he uttered those words. I mean, why? Does he going somewhere else? What was that something that he has to tell me?

He was kind of silent that I can’t read his mind. He did not say anything to me while holding my hand. It seems like, he is cherishing the moment we had at that time, enjoying the company walking together and fascinating green things around us.

People were closely watched our steps while on our way back to the stage. They teased us, as if we were in a relationship. We just smiled at them and ignored it.

It was about to go home when the rain started to pour out. We still heard teasing around us. Secured of the umbrella we had, we walked on the rain but due to heavy rainfall, he chose to get out and soaked run back the structure. I want to run after him in the middle but I can’t move to where I am. It was kind of heart breaking when he suddenly disappeared in my sight. When I looked for him, my effort proved futile.
